Same Day Edits

(We are so excited to finally be sharing a brand new same day edit with you. We have a few from this season and last that still haven’t made it on the blog. But rest assured if you come in for a consultation we’ll be more than happy to show you what we’ve been up to.)
This May we were privileged with being commissioned to capture the renewal of Gisele and Brian’s 25th wedding vows and celebration. We were especially excited because this is something that Matt and I have been discussing doing ourselves for some time and loved being able to witness a couple a little further down the road. I know that they had their first wedding video recorded and I can’t help but think that this edit will be an awesome addition to their family movie library. How amazing to have the continuance 25 years later documented with their beautiful children and family home. Not to mention the obvious love and admiration that you can see Gisele and Brian have for each other.

The Wedding of Nina & Colin
Nina and Colin were married this past March on the 6th. By all accounts it was the ideal winter day for a wedding……….sunny with some snow on the ground! Our team joined them for the morning preparations where Alex, our editor and videographer realized within 5 minutes of arriving at Nina’s place that he was related to some of the guests at the wedding and that their families hail from the same part of Northern Greece (the Macedonian part). Which, as a side note seems to be a reoccurring theme with Alex!
The team told me that Nina and Colin were both very calm throughout the morning preparations which made shooting their wedding a real pleasure for the team and lent to an atmosphere of creativity. The ceremony was held at Aurora United Church and then they proceeded to The Manor Event Venue for the reception which had Sound Sensation dj’ing the party.
I watched the same day edit when the team returned and Nina, you were stunning and you can definitely see the connection between both you and Colin. I also have to say, your flowergirls and ringbearers were ridiculously cute!

I just wanted to let everyone know that we will be exhibiting all weekend at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre for Canada’s Bridal Show. Xero Digital will be located in booth number’s 214 & 216. We had a blast with our last wedding of the year at the wedding of Dimitra and Tony. With most of the holiday activities over and done with, we were excited to end the year with a bang with a same day edit to cap off the year. We love the challenge of creating a highlight of a couples special day that touches on all of the emotional highs and sharing it with those closest to them. It serves as a great momento and perfect end to a great day. Congrats Dimitra and Tony! Best wishes as you embark on the start of your lives together.

We shot this Dating Story a while back, but are just now finding the time to post it. We were so happy with the result. We love the ease at which Carmela and Marc were able to talk about eachother and their future. Dating Stories are such a blast to shoot because they really tell a story and that’s what we are all about around here….we love telling stories and if you have ever been to our office, you’ll know that to be true. We are all storytellers by nature.

So many of our clients who have come in for consultations and seen our more recent videos, have been telling us, you really need to get this work up on the site. Well , here we are….in the span of 2 weeks, 2 entries! Everyone on Sunny and Priya’s team really worked hard to make sure that it captured the feel of Sunny and Priya’s day, and I think the team definitely captured that. The week after their wedding our office was a buzz about the shoot and we all sat in the lounge watching it smiling ear to ear. I have to say I love all the celebratory shots of their friends, as well as the detail shots that really set you up for all that was to unfold that day.
We wish Sunny and Priya all the best in their new lives together and once again were so honoured that they allowed our team to capture their day.
As promised at The National Bridal Show, I have finally added something new to our blog! This season has been so busy that despite all the business experts advising us gently and all of our clients telling us we should really have some new stuff on the blog, we just couldn’t find the time. But here we are and I have to say I definitely have a feeling of victory!
This is Sarah and Fred’s same day edit that we executed at the beginning of the season. They are a fantastic couple and we were so honoured to be a part of the day.
